Being able to provide close and warm attention with genuine hospitality is only possible with passion. It was the right time, and in 2011 Carlos Pérez-Lanzac founded CALETA HOMES.
Carlos Pérez-Lanzac has built his career as an entrepreneur within the tourist accommodation sector, with more than 20 years of experience, specializing in operations and business development, with expertise across various markets in Europe. Over the last ten years, he founded and established Caleta Homes as a reference boutique operator focused on the Flexible Accommodation segment.
Carlos is the founder of VITUR, a high-level events and content platform for leaders, professionals, and experts in Flexible Accommodation in Spain. He has also been president and founder of the Association of Tourist Apartments and Housing Professionals of Andalusia (AVVAPRO), the region with the largest business volume in Europe, with more than 130,000 units. He is a board member of the Spanish Federation of Tourist Apartment and Housing Associations (FEVITUR); a member of the Executive Committee of the European Holiday Home Association (EHHA); and part of the Tourism Commission of the Association of Entrepreneurs of Southern Spain (CESUR) and the Costa del Sol Tourism Forum.
Carlos holds an International MBA from IE Business School, a degree in Tourism Business Administration and Management from University College Birmingham, and a diploma in tourism from the University of Seville – EUSA.
